The Herald & Tribune, published in Jonesborough – Tennessee’s oldest town – is an award-winning weekly newspaper with honors from Editor & Publisher, the Tennessee Press Association, Presstime Magazine and the Tri-Cities Metro Advertising Federation.

The leadership team for the Herald & Tribune includes Publisher Lynn J. Richardson, Advertising Director Bea Casey and Executive Editor Kristen Swing.

The Herald & Tribune is published every Tuesday and reaches nearly 10,000 readers each week. It continues a long tradition of service to its community as well as dedication to independent and intensely local news coverage.

The newspaper contains a unique blend of in-depth coverage of local government, as well as news and features readers can find no other place.

The Herald & Tribune also publishes a bi-annual magazine, Happy Tails, about animals and the people who love them, as well as 15 other niche publications each year. Topics range from Home & Garden to sports and Little League to local festivals and celebrations.

The Herald & Tribune was established on Aug. 26, 1869, and has continuously published since then.
